ARMS Nationals canceled, focus turns to tornado relief

We have made the decision to cancel Saturday night's inaugural ARMS Nationals in order for the surrounding community to concentrate on accessing the damage from a tornado that came through early Fridya afternoon.

We are working with local authorities on what is needed and how we may be able to help out tomorrow. Please stay tuned to the Facebook page for updates as we get them.

Please continue to pray for those families affected by this storm.

We arrived at the racetrack Saturday morning and thankfully we had no damage, but we are without power at the moment.

We will be using the racetrack as a hub to take on any donations, blankets, clothing and anything else that people would like to donate to help the folks in Lamar County and surrounding communties devastated by theis storm.

We will also be serving hamburgers and hot dogs starting at 11 a.m. for first responders, volunteers and families affected by yesterday’s tornado.

The Rocket Raceway Park can be found in Lamar County—about 15 minutes west of Paris and 25 minutes east of Bonham. The physical location is 16369 US-82, Petty, TX 75470.
