Stealth Stock Car Twin 20s return to Rocket Raceway Park July 8

June 29, 2023

THIS EVENT WAS RAINED OUT AND POSTPONED TO JULY 29

The fireworks don't end on the Fourth of July as USRA Stock Cars compete for some serious cash on Saturday, July 8, at the Rocket Raceway Park in Petty, Texas, as the popular fast, wide and high-banked quarter-mile dirt oval hosts double features paying $2,000 to win each.

Racers are returning for some unfinished business when Mother Nature rained out the original date on May 13.

In addition to some serious cash to the top finishers, there's a top-10 points fund payout after both features, plus Stealth Thru Tubing USRA Stock Car drivers will earn Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series national points in both feature races (no track points).

Also on the card will be the Rocket Challenge presented by Carquest featuring WWJ Surveying & Mapping USRA Modifieds, Coston & Son Ready Mix USRA Limited Mods and By-Line Surveying USRA Factory Stocks, along with J&G Services Eco-Mods and Bravado Wireless Junior Limited Mods. USRA B-Mods are welcome to compete with the USRA Limited Mods.

Saturday's show will be highlighted by two 20-lap features paying $2,000 to win each, plus a $1,000 bonus to the highest combined points earner in the two main events. Oer $15,000 in purses and points money is on the line.

Special thanks to Leslie Gill with Stealth Oilwell Services for providing free pit passes to the drivers that competed in last year's Stock Car Twin 20s: Jeffrey Abbey, Scott Allen, Jeff Benson, Jeremy Bradley, Larry Bradley, Derek Brown, Taylor Carver, Blake Clark, Cody Cline, Tim Clonch, J.D.
