Schedule changes announced for Rocket Raceway Park

Officials at the Rocket Raceway Park in Petty, Texas have announced some schedule changes for upcoming events.

This Saturday, June 17, will remain unchanged with the Short Track Super Series Cajun Region Modifieds headlining the event. Along with the wicked-fast northeastern-style dirt modifieds, the Rocket Challenge presented by Carquest will feature Stealth Thru Tubing USRA Stock Cars, Coston & Son Ready Mix USRA Limited Mods, By-Line Surveying USRA Factory Stocks, J&G Services Eco-Mods and Bravado Wireless Junior Limited Mods.

Due to unforeseen circumstances and scheduling conflicts, the track will not play host to the ASCS National Sprint Car Series the following Saturday, June 24. The series will instead be at the Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kan.

The date remains on the schedule, however, with the Rocket Challenge presented by Carquest with the WWJ Surveying & Mapping USRA Modifieds being added to the program which also features Stealth Thru Tubing USRA Stock Cars, Coston & Son Ready Mix USRA Limited Mods, By-Line Surveying USRA Factory Stocks, J&G Services Eco-Mods and Bravado Wireless Junior Limited Mods.

Located about 15 minutes west of Paris and 25 minutes east of Bonham in Lamar County, the Rocket Raceway Park is a 3/8-mile clay oval which holds 3,400 spectators and features elevated grandstands that offer superb viewing from any seat. The venue can be found at 16369 US Hwy 82, Petty, TX 75470.
